Wailea the South Shore of Maui’s resort community is slightly quieter and drier than its west side sister Kaanapali. The first two resorts were built here in the late 1970’s. Soon a cluster of upscale properties sprung up, including the Four Seasons, the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui and the Grand Wailea. The luxury of the results and the beautiful coastal sites make this an outstanding destination. A handful of perfect little beaches with a paved walk allow you stroll along all the properties, restaurants and coves.
